1. Say Hello
It all begins with a brief phone call or an e-mail. We will set up a time for an initial consultation to learn more about one another, and your general interest in therapy.
2. Initial Consultation
We will have a phone consultation that will allow us to dive deeper into your journey with your mental health, concerns, and goals. We will collaborate to best understand your therapeutic journey in a way that is effective for you, and that will help assist in sustaining progress.
3. Begin Therapy
The therapy session is unique for each person and is tailored to meet your specific goals. It is standard to discuss primary issues and concerns in your life during therapy sessions.
Sessions are usually 60 minutes, and are scheduled weekly or bi-weekly. Depending on established goals and challenges, individuals may request more than one session per week. Therapy can be short-term, focused on a specific issue, or it can be long-term, addressing more complex issues and/or personal growth over time.
